Our Mission

For the past 4 years, Project HumaniHair has been showing up for people who need it most, offering free haircuts, clothing, food, and, sometimes, simply a safe space to talk and be heard.

Because we believe care goes beyond what we can give. It’s about connection, dignity, and reminding people that they matter.

What We Do

We believe everyone deserves the tools to build a brighter future. That’s why we connect caring people with practical ways to help right in their own neighborhoods.

  • Volunteer barbers offer complimentary haircuts to people experiencing homelessness and those in need across Montreal.

  • We collect coats, scarves, hats, gloves, and other winter essentials, redistributed directly to people in need, with surplus going to community organizations.

  • Food & Coffee — Warm meals and coffee shared alongside our haircut events

  • We collect, clean, and donate gently-used stuffed animals to children who may not have many resources or support

  • Partnering with local youth centers to offer haircuts and support to young people in need.
